1510.015.40  Training Requirements for Employed Refugee Recipients

The following requirements apply to employed refugee recipients:

1. If employed part-time (less than 100 hours per month), the refugee must participate in part-time training such as English language or skill training, if available and determined appropriate.  If the refugee refuses to enroll or participate in such training when it is available and determined appropriate, apply sanctions as outlined above.
2. If employed full-time (100 or more hours her month), the refugee must be encouraged, but not required, to participate in part-time English language or skill training.
