DISCUSSION:
The IM-29SPDN, Notification of spend down Coverage letter, has been developed to inform the spend down client of the months they met their spend down, with incurred expenses.  The letter informs them of their Medicaid start date and the amount of spend down met on the start date.  The letter will be sent to the client by the caseworker when coverage dates have been initially entered through the MSPA screen or corrected through the MSPU screen.
 
NECESSARY ACTION:
  • Review this memorandum with all appropriate staff.

  •  
  • Begin using the new IM-29SPDN upon receipt.

  •  
  • File the IM-29SPDN and instructions in the Forms Manual.

  •  
  • Order additional supplies of IM-29SPDN from the warehouse as needed.
