0150.060.00  RETAILER QUESTIONS

County offices may receive questions/concerns from retailers in the area. Possible situations are provided with instructions on how to assist in resolving the concern.

0150.060.05 Participant Fraud

If the retailer is calling to report participant fraud, record the store name, address, telephone number and details about the incident. Refer the information to the Welfare Investigation Unit and they will contact the store.

0150.060.10 Retailer Help Desk

The Missouri EBT Retailer Help Line, 1-800-831-5235, is accessed for manual voucher authorization, food stamp purchases, and returns. The Help Line provides assistance in English and Spanish.

0150.060.15 Equipment

If the retailer has free equipment provided by the state (food stamp only equipment), the store needs to contact the Retailer Help Line, 1-800-831-5235, with problems or concerns.

If the retailer has commercial equipment, s/he needs to contact the third party processor whose number is listed on the back of the equipment regarding equipment problems or concerns.

0150.060.20 Out-of-State Retailer

If a retailer calls from another state asking how they can be approved to accept the Missouri EBT card, s/he should call the Retailer Help Line at 1-800-831-5235.

0150.060.25 Participant Assistance

If a retailer calls to ask for assistance with a participant having difficulty using the card, s/he should call the eFunds Help Desk. However, the county office must also offer the participant additional training if needed.
